FAQ

  • The DIHR is Denmark’s national human rights institution.  In addition to our national mandate areas, we are mandated by Danish Parliament to work abroad.

  • Financial support to third parties can be a viable supplement to technical assistance and logical step for enabling organisations to fulfill their mission and mandate(s).  Therefore, we may provide sub-grants, re-grants or micro-grants when this modality has been specified in DIHR programming.  DIHR does not provide grant funds from its own budget.  All grants are financed by contracts received from DIHR donors such as the European Commission of the EU, Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, SIDA, etc.
